Biography
Having started his artistic career with graffiti in the streets and underground areas of Paris at the end of the 2000s, Zokay diversified his practices to become a multimedia designer.
Today back to his first love, his work revolves around the letter, from graffiti to calligraphy, with a taste of bitumen that can never go too far away!
Abstraction mingles with typographic characters in the service of composition.
Multiplying media and emotions, he often uses song lyrics as the basis of his creations. You can find rhymes from oxmo puccino, Scylla, Georgio or texts by Billie Holiday, Nina Simone or Bob Marley… if you can decipher them!
